So I told you about MJ's flea bites getting infected. Well when she went to urgent care, all they did was gave her antibiotics and that was that. The medication was making her sick so the next day she went to the university health center to see if there was something else they could do. As soon as she walked in, they looked at her feet in awe. Apparently it had gotten worse than we thought. They gave her more antibiotics, creams, and pain killers. She was in the health center from 9 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon. They found out she has a skin disease called merca. It has started spreading up her legs. It's contagious so she slept at her grandparents last night. She didn't go to class (she could hardly walk). And she ended up having to give away her two pet rats because she didn't want to take any chances. Poor MJ :( We love you!

Poor MJ - I hope the new medicine starts to relieve the pain and discomfort soon!
I hope she starts feeling better...I just read about Merca - that is serious! Keep us updated!
